FULL BODY HEIGHT : From the top of the head to the floor(without shoes) is the height.
NECK : Measure with collar unbuttoned. Place the tape around the neck at the level the collar would fall if buttoned, add 3/4 inch to it or measure the collar from the middle of the button hole to the middle of the button with the shirt placed on a flat surface.
SHOULDERS : Hold the tape at the shoulder point. Measure directly over the shirt the total width from left shoulder to right shoulder seam across the top spinal bone.
ARM HOLE : Run the tape under your arm, pulling comfortably, and up to the shoulder point again in front. The total measurement is the arm hole width.
CHEST : Measure directly over the shirt. Place the tape under the arms, straight across the back and over the chest in front.
FULL HIP : Measure 9 inches down from the waist directly over the pants around the broadest part of the hips with your heels placed together.
SLEEVE LENGTH : Measure from the shoulder down the arm to the wrist or take the measurement of your long sleeved shirt with cuff button open.
SUIT LENGTH : The back neck length needs to be taken downwards till the height desired.
PANT WAIST CIRCUMFERENCE : Measure directly over the shirt, just above the hip bones and through the navel (or) the waist measurement must be taken at the base of the waistband circumference on the pants that you are wearing - we assume this is where you normally wear your pants. Or simply measure from one end to other end of your pant and multiply by 2 to get the pant waist circumference.
IN SEAM : Place the tape at the crotch and measure to the bottom of the hem. Measure both the legs for accuracy. We assume the pant crotch is neither baggy nor tight.
OUT SEAM/PANT LENGTH : Measure from the top of the waist line to the top of where the shoe meets the foot from the outside just below the ankle. Add 1 inch and you have the pant length.
PANT THIGH : Measure your pants at the thigh where the crotch ends from one end to other and multiply by 2.
FRONT RISE : When measuring the front rise, make sure you close the pant zipper or buttons. Lay them flat, front side up. Measure the front rise from the crotch seam up to the top of the waist.
